Deconstructions

Firstly, we deconstructed a number of non-genre specific films and movie teaser trailers to get some ideas for a concept for our film and also to see what typical conventions teaser trailers include, i.e. the time length, number of shots, the information that is included, titles etc.

When we had received enough responses from our survey, we did genre-specific deconstructions – drama films and their teaser trailers, again to help us think of a concept and to see what conventions are typically in drama teaser trailers.
